One of the questions we often get at Sparkling Homes Cleaning is: “Do I need to tip my cleaning technician?” The short answer? Tipping is always appreciated, but never expected!
Our team works hard to make your home shine, and if you feel like showing a little extra appreciation, we’ve made tipping easy and flexible.
How Can You Leave a Tip?
💵 Cash Tip – The old-school way! If you’d like to leave cash, simply place it in an envelope with your cleaning tech’s name.
💳 Add a Tip to Your Card – Want to keep it digital? Just let our office know, and we can add a one-time or recurring tip to your card on file.
📝 Tip Through the Survey – After each cleaning, you’ll receive a quick survey. There’s a spot to enter tip information, and we’ll charge the card on file accordingly.
How Much Should You Tip?
Tipping is totally up to you! A typical range is:
✔️ 10-20% of the cleaning cost – Similar to restaurant tipping.
✔️ A flat amount – $10, $20, or whatever feels right for you.
✔️ More for extra-special service – If your cleaner went above and beyond, a little extra is always appreciated!
